What personality type is Naval Ravikant? Naval Ravikant is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sp/so - in Enneagram, in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
Some people say Naval is Fi because "he has some idealistic values and wants to world to fit into them". Just to explain: it's as common for Ti users, even Fi-blind ExTPs are able to care about personal values. But when Naval explains his ideas, he utilizes the "true/false" dichotomy and appeals more to reasoning and people's feelings (Fe-Ti). A great example of his quote: “People spend too much time doing [Te] and not enough time thinking about [Ti] what they should be doing.” But for the Ni-Se axis, it's even easier. The Ni function, especially in Dom position, is generally focused on seeking meaningful things rather than those that bring money, while he doesn't deny the latter at all. 1. “Morality and ethics automatically emerge when we realize the long term consequences of our actions.” - by the way, he talks about future-vision a lot. 2. “Information is everywhere but its meaning is created by the observer that interprets it. Meaning is relative and there is no objective, over-arching meaning.” Introverted intuition again. 3. “A fit body, a calm mind, a house full of love. These things cannot be bought — they must be earned.” - inferior Se slight preference for material successes, no distracting from his general philosophical views. I still agree he might be ENTP, as he doesn't take life too seriously, and acts quite inventive and idea-absorbing; however, I don't see any Si-inferior growth.
