What personality type is Helena Shaw? Helena Shaw is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sp/sx - 738 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
Either LIE or ILE, I'm not really sure. She's for sure not a sensing dominant so I'm surprised by SLE votes. She appeared to be an SP7, good with words, using her fast and witty verbal skill to get what she wants, interested in material success as the SP7 is (as seen by her interest in money), she was humoristic, verbose, aligning with those who have a shared interests, using them for her projects and personal gain, and concerned for own well-being. I'm leaning towards Ne base. She was very interested in various ideas and concepts, they excited her. I can see Se mobilizing in her as well so that made me consider LIE. She also seemed relatively composed in her behavior which also pointed towards LIE but I'm not convinced of her being a rational type. As for PY, 1F=She was comfortable in the physical sphere. Regularly hit people when things came down to it. She resorted to physical violence (hitting unconscious) Indiana when she wanted to get him to return home. 1Fs resort to physical violence quicker than the other physics placements. 2L=This was her most obvious placement. She was a skilled rhetorician. She openly and commonly engaged in idea play and dialogues with others. She gave her thoughts and opinions on nearly everything. 2Ls tend to engage in endless dialogue. They can have trouble staying silent which I felt fit her perfectly. 3V=This is a bit harder to prove but she tried to keep her independence from Indiana in the beginning but ultimately gave up when she realized their goals were going to align sooner rather than later. It was as if she was attempting to forge her own path but ultimately did not have the strength necessary in her volition to do so. 4E=To me, this was an obvious placement for her. It's especially clear in comparison to a 3E like Indiana Jones. He was much more stoic than she was. Helena's emotions were able to easily assimilate to the people around her. She primarily relied upon logic>emotion to get others to do what she wanted, so I don't see her strongly valuing emotion by any means. Overall, I think she fits SP7 FLVE ILE (not totally convinced of ILE > LIE yet) most of all. I could see some arguments being made for SX7 ELFV IEE but I fail to see the 3F in her (3Fs are very sensitive to physical violence while she wasn't) and I also don't really see her as an ethical feeling type at all nor fitting Fi creative. She was much more pragmatic and interested in material security than an SX7 would be. Helena's main motivation in the beginning was securing money (she was willing to manipulate whoever necessary to do so), this struck me as typical SP7 behavior.
