Sally Rooney MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Sally Rooney? Sally Rooney is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - so/sx - 451 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.

I find it difficult to imagine that an INFP sp blind 4 would write with such a detached, often cold style, devoid of emotion for the most part and doused with intellectualism. Seriously, her interview with the Louisiana Channel suggests that her reasons for writing are 1) to make sense of the world and other people and 2) because it’s “the only thing she’s good at” (her words not mine). That doesn’t sound like a very Fi 4 mindset to me. There’s nothing about expressing her deepest emotions or her inner life. She just writes about her experiences because she thinks they’re the only things that she fully understands. If anything, the main focuses of her novel are ultimately ideological (Marxist in her case) and theoretical rather than personal. I’d suggest high Ni or Ti, though she’s undoubtedly an intuitive, mostly debating between INFJ and INTP. Rooney states that "I can't conceive of character separate from dynamic" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jH_0rg46Es quoted in the comments, same opinion is also present in Conversations with Friends), which is an incredibly Fe opinion. I'm quite skeptical of NI-dom arguments now that I think about it because Rooney's approach to writing doesn't feel like it's careening to a certain point and it moreso feels like a sort of ramble...? She also talks about how after she finishes anovel she basically jumps to new ideas. INTP would also stereotypically fit her debater background quite a bit lmao.
