Elliot Alderson MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Elliot Alderson? Elliot Alderson is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sp/sx - 541 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.

Elliot (Mastermind) as a person, is not a moral one. He is totally okay with hacking, stealing, and even blackmailing. What he struggles with, instead, is when he goes to far; Like when Mr robot was going to kill a bunch of people for their revolution, or the whole blackmailing situation was bcs he went too far, not because it was neither good or bad (Also, He hurted someone who trusted him) One core point of Ti, is that it tries to avoid excessive/pointless cruelty or violence (Mostly with animals tho, but still) and that are the only moments when Elliot has any issues with what He's doing. By that logic, other prominent examples of INTP like Reed Richards would be INFPs because, instead of being mass murderers, They wanted to seek another way (Use their TiNe) to reach their goals. One good example of this, is how affected he was from insulting that guard in first season. He was innecesarily harsh and felt guilt bcs he though he couuld have gotten the same result without hurting him (Which also is Ne too) Most of his monologues are dettached thesis of the flaws he sees in society (Textbook Ti) and his problems with society are about how it doesn't make sense (the society rant being the most prominent example, but also the religion rant too, tho) Also, his whole thinking is emotionally detached, He talks about society like he doesn't make part of it, and even when he includes himself in the monologues, its about how he does the same thing he critizes (Ti hipocrecy) I get that, both Ti and Fi, are hard to discern (Punpun being an example.) Thats why most people, including me, prefer to discern them by their inferior functions. And, regarding of Fe vs Te, One of the most prominent traits of elliot are how He doesn't get people, struggles to fit/socialize and is naturally being seen as a weirdo because of that (Textbook inf Fe) And his whole "i want to save the world" is Fe too Regarding Si, The most obvious example of it is how he clings to his routine during the beggining of the Second Season. Even saying that bad things would happen if he leaves it (TiSi at its finest) The point of his character is that He's a cliche, you don't need to try to disprove the INTP consensus because the last chapter is literally dedicated about how the Mastermind is a Persona created by someone who though that Hackers were cool.
