Joanna Wellick MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Joanna Wellick? Joanna Wellick is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sx/sp - 386 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.

Here’s why I think Joanna Wellick is an INTJ. *Spoilers ahead! Please do not read on unless you have seen all of season 1. (I won’t include references to other seasons in order to minimise spoilers.)* ENTJs find reasons to do things. They love to use their Te to structure and organise and they back this up with Ni vision- giving them a reason to use their Te. They are action oriented. This idea of being action-oriented is seen in how Tyrell kills Sharon Knowles even though it doesn’t fit with the Wellicks’ plan of him becoming CTO. He is seen on multiple occasions to act first and then justify (or not) his actions, rather than acting only in accordance with Ni vision. INTJs do things for a reason. Their dominant Ni means they put their vision first and their Te acts as a servant to it- figuring out how they can achieve this goal. They are idea oriented. Joanna Wellick demonstrates this in how she induces an early birth (season 1, episode 8) in order to take the attention of the police off of her husband. She is shown to act mercilessly, but only to reach a desired goal. Both types have ideas and both take action, but their priority of these things is flipped. @[HairLessKFC] already did a really good job of explaining the reasoning behind Joanna Wellick being an INTJ, but I wanted to add something about the differences between INTJs and ENTJs that is particularly well illustrated in the series.
