SHE IS NOT AN ENNEATYPE 8! And that wing 7 is totally nonsense. Guys are you serious? 8s show themselves to be strong, invincible, authoritarian. they want to be the leaders, powerful in the eyes of others and guides for the weakest, 'cause they think they "know it better". that's why they are also called "defenders". robin has none, or almost none, of these qualities. she is definitely a 3 (prob wing 4 or no wing at all, which is rare but possible as well). 3s are ambitious, competitive, indipendent, work oriented and successful, often vain because they feel the need to be admired and appreciated for their talents. 3s don't fight to protect the weakest, they don't command because they think they are better guides, they just want to feel loved, that's why they are a part of the triad of the HEART. It's just appearence! i think it is the main trait of robin's personality, apparently cold, but always looking for the recognition of her friends, her father and her "fans"... it has many more traits of 3s and rather than 8s. Then, i agree that in the first few seasons she is much more relaxed and empathetic. as it accumulates delusions, she becomes more and more aggressive and similar to a stereotyped 8, but I remind you that 7s, 8s and 3s are ALL enneatypes that present an aggressive attitude, which manifests itself with resoluteness, the difficulty of expressing their feelings and a great strength. still thinking that her relationship with barney totally ruined her.
Biography
Robin Charles Scherbatsky, Jr. (born July 23, 1980) is one of the five main characters of How I Met Your Mother, portrayed by #CobieSmulders. Her dad is Robin Scherbatsky Sr., and she has a younger sister, named Katie. She is a Scotch-drinking, cigar-smoking, gun-toting Canadian pop-star-turned-journalist-turned-morning-show-host. In the finale, it is shown that by 2020 she had risen to stardom at World Wide News as their foreign correspondent, but recently decided to take a news anchor position and settle down in New York again. Robin is tomboyish, hardcore and sarcastic. She is often emotionally closed off, Barney has described her as being one of the most "secretive people he knew" and remains a closed book to her friends. The fragments of her past she does divulge reveal her childhood to be traumatic as the estranged relationship with her father is a cause of her tomboyish and sometimes violent hobbies, idiosyncrasies and tendencies as an adult.
