What personality type is Buttercup? Buttercup is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/sp - 496 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
Consensus seems to be ISFP and I respect that. Still it doesn’t convince me. I read an article form Funky Mbti in Fiction about her, which was arguing for her being an ISFP. Overall it was good, but in my opinion her Se wasn‘t justified well enough. The main point was actually that she was very spontaneous and impulsive. I personally think this is something that fits for most perceiving types, even if it might be associated more with Se. I think her impulsiveness is more that of a Ne user. She easily sees possibilities and often acts on them, ignoring the practical realities for the sake of her ideas and idealism. She also isn‘t very grounded in physical reality and seems to be more concerned with her thoughts than with the present moment. Furthermore she seems to have well developed Si and is very faithful to Westley and doesn‘t easily move on from his perceived death.
Biography
A beautiful girl who is selected to marry the prince. She is adored by the people and is willing to go through with the marriage, but is kidnapped at the start of the story.
