I am back just to say that upon rewatching a bit of the show she is still my favorite character. Such an obvious, well written, complex and realistic ENTJ, she is all about longterm results and efficiency. She uses logic and external data to help her achieve her goal of preserbing the stability of her kingdom and keeping her children happy and safe to the point she is willing to give up things she enjoys in favor of her work and cross any moral lines that prevent her from achieving this goal, her sight is set on the future and likes to speculate about what will happen next and relates that to her goal. Something I really like is how at the beggining of the show and at a superficial level she looks like anything but a stereotypical ENTJ but playing close attention to her you soon realize SHE IS an ENTJ and in later seasons that just becomes obvious. She is a very complex characters and despite her being a pretty major character we are supossed to like and Finn having a crush on her for a while and then still looking up to and being loyal to her, the show is not afraid to explore her flaws and you are not always supossed to agree with her and sometimes she is clearly in the wrong and gets called out for it and a big part of her character is her inferior Fi seen in both her habit of always being very dutiful, taking care of her responsibilities and throwing herself into her work so much that she neglects her own interests and things she enjoys like her relationship with Marceline and her inferior Fi also shows as her disregard for right or wrong in favor of getting to her end goal no matter what, she is a well intentioned extremist who thinks "the end justifies the means" and always rationalizes everything she does, no matter how wrong it may seem even to her. Throughout the show she starts being less of a workaholic and makes a conscious effort to not cross as many moral lines (she still does though cause it is hard for her but she is learning) and tbh I just really like her. Lol this turned into a Bonnie appreciation comment sorry but you gotta admit she is pretty cool
Biography
The young-looking princess and current ruler of the Candy Kingdom. She cares deeply about her citizens. She's also a giant nerd, said to engage in "every branch of geekdom", but not (as far as we can tell) in the Cosplay Otaku Girl way— she's more of a math and science whiz. She's also a hybrid of human DNA and bubblegum DNA (which Finn finds a-TRACTT-ive~!), despite bubblegum not having DNA, hence her name. She's close friends with Finn, who seems to have a crush on her (however much he tries to deny it), but she brusquely refuses any romantic advances. She finds Jake funny and charming, and has a complicated relationship with Marceline. Although she looks sweet, and is, in general, rather nice, she is actually quite quick to anger, and her wrath is best avoided. She also speaks German, apparently. The second season reveals her first name is Bonnibel, and her true age has also been revealed: 827.
