What personality type is Lois Griffin? Lois Griffin is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - so/sx - 261 in Enneagram, SLOAN in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
IMO- Yes there was that episode where Lois wanted to be young again and showed a lot of SE- but I don’t think we can judge her personality on episodes like this which are created more with the potential comedy in mind then as an actual development/reflection of a character (this is typical of family guy). On the other hand, her SI is actually a consistent in her character and it’s been apparent from the start of the show. For example her belief in family and Desire for the whole house to be eating dinner together at the same time because ‘that’s what families do’,shows some of her tradition loving si. And yeah you could say ‘she used to be a pornstar etc’ but once again I don’t think this I really believable and was just a one off gag from the writers which played off of the fact that’s it’s very out of character for her. Also, just coz she’s strict with Peter doesn’t mean she is choleric. Peter must be an absolute fucking nightmare to live with, I’d be choleric with him too. She’s generally kind and warm with everyone else (apart from maybe meg but that’s just a running joke that everyone hates meg)
Biography
Lois Griffin was born to affluent WASP parents, Carter and Barbara Pewterschmidt. It is revealed in the episode "Family Goy" that her mother is actually a Holocaust survivor who concealed her Judaism,though she was raised a Protestant. Lois and the rest of the Griffins live in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island. She primarily works as a housewife throughout the series, though she did give piano lessons in early episodes.
