What personality type is Dana Scully? Dana Scully is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - sp/so - 162 in Enneagram, RCOAN in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

ISTJ is pretty freaking clear, but i can't decide if she's a 6w5 or 1w9 core. she seems to value both a very similar amount. i'm glad her third fixed changed from a 3 to a 2 though but i'm not sure how she's voted as inquisitive; she's just a very healthy non-curious. she's extremely skeptical and hesitant to adopt to new personal values, EVEN if she's open to hear other viewpoints (but like the show has discussed many times, she's almost never open to taking them into consideration herself). internally closed-minded, which isn't a bad trait at all, but externally open-minded. i believe she's an LFVE with a very process-oriented 3V. 1L- applies an ample amount of trust in her logic. it appears that everything she processes filters through her "sense of logic" before being applied and discussed, which is what the confident position is. 2F - obvious lol 3V- while she's ambitious and has clear goals, it's actually the most vulnerable in her psyche. her violation is never externally centered- it's internally- but she takes huge pride in self-image and credibility. she constantly stresses about it (unlike the 1V) and needs her 3V to feel secure in order for her to feel secure. it's her glue. 4E - while she's certainly an emotional person, she NEVER allows HER emotions to dictate the situation- she doesn't even consider it as a factor. nothing about her is ever about emotional expression, emotional needs or emotional stability. the only exception i can think of would be that's she super protective and loyal of others, but she honestly just has a really strong Fi. it was kinda hard to pinpoint her last three positions because they're all incredible developed and healthy

Dana Katherine Scully is a fictional character in the The X-Files. Scully is an FBI agent and a medical doctor (M.D.), partnered with fellow Special Agent Fox Mulder. In contrast to Mulder's credulous "believer" character, Scully is the skeptic, choosing to base her beliefs on what science can prove.
