What personality type is General Grievous? General Grievous is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sp/so - 863 in Enneagram, RCOEN in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
Probably my favourite character from Star Wars. But I like him more in legends, where he was more powerful and there was a clear reason why he is the way he acts. He was the same, even before the cybernetic parts. Harsh leader of his tribe with hatred towards the republic and who also liked collecting war trophies. He was faced with betrayal and hatred from every side, the separatists are logical because they were controlled by the sith and they are responsible for his appearance. But they supressed any rebelion towards his new faction and pushed more extreme believes why the republic must be destroyed. But deep down he knew what happened to him and showed small signs of resistance. The resistance is a probably better part of Grievouses character in the canon. But he rather followed the rules of his faction, because then he would be in a big disadvantage if he, the most wanted person in the galaxy for his war crimes went outcast or if he would take over the separatists and be all alone, because he lacked diplomatic abilities. My point is that he wasn't a different character in the legends, he had more depth, but Grievouses core was the same. Hatred towards everything and everyone, ruthless general, killing machine and true warrior. If he was able to use to use the force, he would be unstoppable.
