What personality type is Emilia? Emilia is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - so/sp - 126 in Enneagram, RLOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
For anyone saying she's an xSFJ, here's my argument for dom Ni and inf Se. Ni is hard to spot but instead of focusing on the 4 functions stack, we should explore the rest too and see her weaknesses. Emilia has shown to be observing rather than someone taking action. When Rem died in a timeline, she didn't blame Subaru instantly but waited and observed to see if he really was guilty. She doesn't jump to conclusions quickly and followed him when he was attacked by Ram and Roswaal. In contrast to her, Rem decided to eliminate Subaru without further question after smelling the witch on him in a different timeline (because she's rather realistic than idealistic and used her experience). Emilia still wanted to believe he isn't bad because of her idealism (even after knowing about his connections to the witch). INFJs use their Se when they're under stress. That's what we see in the first episode when she helped Subaru against these robbers, tried to help the family in the OVA, and also when she defended the villagers against the rabbits in season 2 part 2. Because of her trouble taking action, we can see Subaru doing these parts constantly with his dom Se. Si is in INFJ's 8-functions stack the last function, also called the demon. For those who don't know we all have our demons which is something we never wanna associate with. We see that in Emilia's case very clearly with Si and here's why: Throughout season 2 part 1, we see how she struggles with facing the past. Anything involving her past haunted her. Roswaal even used that aspect by causing a winter storm to push her to the edge mentally which lead to Subaru finding her in a mentally very unstable state. You could say her past was traumatizing but we see Rem handling her traumatizing past way differently with her dom Si. She faced her past every day by seeing the killer of her clan Roswaal and decided to still serve him because it was the safest way for her and Ram to survive. She wanted to reform herself into someone Ram can't become due to her lost horn and dedicate her whole life to that purpose (inf Ne). I don't see Emilia being traditional, neither using past experience nor being realistic at all. She was only able to face and accept the past because of Subaru's love and encouragement. In the OVA, we also see Emilia taking care of the frozen people in the hope they would be free in the future. She always had the future vision of them getting saved someday even if it seemed impossible. Her goals in general are rather future-oriented. From becoming the queen to lead a whole nation to unfreeze her people and clean her name as the half-elf. When it comes to shipping and compatibility, any type is compatible with anyone as long as both parties respect their differences. Imo I love the duality Subaru and Emilia have. But anyways, I'm open to change my vote anytime. I'd like to hear where she uses dom/aux Si and tert/inf Ne tho
Biography
The main female protagonist. She is a half-elf girl who is one of the candidates to become the next ruler in the royal election. Subaru first meets her when her insignia is stolen by Felt as she needs to possess it to be eligible to participate in the election.
