Biography
Not only could Shenzi be one of the toughest ladies Disney has on offer, but on top of everything else it's implied that she is the leader of the whole clan; otherwise why would Scar be doing business with her? Among the hyenas themselves, she acts more like a friend of Banzai and Ed than the leader, and similarly shrugs off a lot of sass and arguing.
