Which kisses Fred because he'll like it, kisses Velma to help get over her fear and it's all about how much she loves people or not and what power she has over them. An interesting drama that could be more in-depth, regarding how she needs to be taken care of, and uses this modeling as a trade-off. She is not success personified, she is based on being loved.
