What personality type is Raven? Raven is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - - 863 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
(WARNING: Spoilers about the Delirium series are below.) Re-reading the Delirium series recently, I would say Raven uses the following functions in this order: Te - Ni - Se - Fi Te (Extroverted Thinking): Throughout the book series, Raven tends to focus more on already-proven facts and what needs to get done (Te) instead of figuring things out for herself (Ti). Raven constantly tells others what to do and what needs to get done. Because she is so future-oriented and acts quickly, it makes me think that Te is her dominant function. Ni (Introverted Intuition): Raven tends to focus more on patterns, narrowing things down, and the big picture (Ni) instead of various possibilities (Ne). The way she told Lena to watch the Wilds for patterns in Pandemonium further solidified her Ni for me. Se (Extroverted Sensing): Raven tends to focus more on the present moment and spontaneity (Se) instead of reflecting on details of past experiences (Si). After escaping to the Wilds with Blue, Raven quickly adapted and abandoned the ideas and memories of her past life. She also recklessly went into the labs without much planning to help Lena save Julian and make up for her mistake. Fi (Introverted Feeling): Raven tends to focus more on how she is feeling (Fi) than reading how others are feeling (Fe). However, I think this is her inferior function. One reason is that she forced Lena to kill a rabbit even though Lena did not want to. Raven thought more about what needed to be done rather than how Lena felt or morality. The second reason is how she thought it was okay to risk Julian's life for the cause of the resistance. She saw him as a symbol instead of a person, indicating Ni and a lack of Fi morality. However, Raven's short story revealed that Raven cared for Lena like family and thought about her feelings for Tack. That was when she realized how wrong it was to sacrifice Julian's life for the cause. If you want, feel free to share your Delirium character MBTI-type arguments with me.
