What personality type is Boboiboy Thunderstorm? Boboiboy Thunderstorm is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/sp - 863 in Enneagram, RLOEN in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
Pls don't type him by letter, but cognitive function. I think there should be two profiles for each elementals. One for the original series and one for the reboot, which is galaxy. And because Monsta didn't build Hali's personality consistently enough to consider only one type. So to me: -Original Hali = ISTP -Galaxy Hali = ISTJ The original Hali is definitely an ISTP. The combination of Ti+Se makes him very grounded and present. His fighting style has little to no plan, tendency to attack enemies immediately + instinct, and very blend in with his surroundings (Se). Because he is adaptable to his environment, he can create special moves like thunderstorm rain, lightning shine, thunder Shield and a variety of weapons to stun the enemy (skillfull but lack strategy). In movie one, when dealing with Adu du and protect grandma + Taufan from falling objects, he acts quickly and without hesitation or restraint. And remember the remote control episode? Ti as judging function means he'll do whatever he wants. The original Hali remind me of Warren Peace in sky high, Wolverine and other ISTP enneagram 8w9. Compare that to Hali in Galaxy. He is slow, unhinged, and passive with his surroundings (not his attack). This does not indicate Si. But in galaxy 2 ep 3 arc Sori, the way he reacted when there was a fire in the kitchen is just...awkward, also most of his action and fighting style is not very flexible, and would hesitant if an unexpected situation arises, like in the jungle episode (typical IXXJ, Di dom), unlike original Hali (Se). Also in that ep, when Ice facepalmed in 15:22 => this should be Hali, just like back in the original S3E5 The Rampage of Cocoa Jumbo, Hali also facepalmed when Adu du makes the halu dance, because Ti-Se+Fe had had enough of the stupidity, and Si-Te will just somehow question the situation and try to fix it. Galaxy Hali also seems blander compared to the original, mainly because in TV/comics, especially in the shounen/action/adventure genre, the protagonist are usually Se dom or secondary. While there's nothing wrong with Hali being an ISTJ, I don't think I'll see that 100% cool, bad-ass vibe from him again in the galaxy. (Especially since Boboiboy's current model has those sparkling eyes and rosy lips.) This is not a detailed analysis. Ultimately, again, in my personal opinion, those who prefer the original version of Hali will think of his personality as an ISTP. Those who prefer the goofier, more emotional Hali will picture him more like the galaxy version, and an ISTJ. As for me, I will always be nostalgic for the original version of Hali. The thunderstorm rain alone said it all.
