👉🏻 It was fun to make this post, because it contains discussions about typological content and investment strategies at the same time The investment strategy of this friendly guy is all about following the same idea/approach over and over again. He proposed a strategy 40 years ago (Dividend Investing), and used that until he got old and advocate towards that strategy until nowadays without becoming “tired of it”. Why? Because he prefers to feel safe (E6) than to venture into the unknown (avoid E7). Some people asked Luiz Barsi why he invest in companies and he said something like: Luiz Barsi: “I don’t invest to become rich, I invest to not become poor again like I was during the early ages of my life” • Barsi follows what worked in practice (Te) to him in the past (Si) to make he feel safe. (E6). • Barsi avoids new ideas, new possibilities, different perspectives while investing (Repressed Ne) • Barsi does not use his money for concrete enjoyment (No Se) and he does not take risks while investing (No Se) The personality of Luiz Barsi is kinda like Warren Buffet (ISTJ), except that Warren Buffet is now taking some risks by investing in Technology Companies instead of the Quality/Dividend companies like he always did. However, it is Warren Buffet that is taking these risks anyways, but the guys that Buffet paid to do the analysis. The interesting part of it all is that • Luiz Barsi is the richest investor of Brazil • Warren Buffet is the richest investor of the entire World And both of them are ISTJs, which contradicts the hypothesis that you need to apply your intuition while investing to “predict the future”… Nope, you need to choose the most reliable and consolidated investment strategies that worked in the past. It is not good at all to believe that the future will be different from the past. 🤭
