Both of the ones that are being considered as of now are weird fits for her. She's not very much the heavily narcotizing, somewhat rebellious SP9; but she's also not the leader-like, Thoma-like figure of the Social 9; she seems to entirely lack the adaptability of a Social instinct, considering her whole quest (and even a good chunk of her character itself) is on feeling left out due to not being able to adapt to the changes of time in Liyue. ... Though, considering how much the SX9 is described as forgetting itself to the point of neglecting even one's own appearance - which isn't the 'i'm-obsessed-with-my-weight' Ganyu - I've considered SP3 as Enneagram and, for a while, believed it to be her best fit. So, still on the tritype end shortly; 9+6 in her tritype would imply a desire to fit and be supported by a community. The heart type would define which kind of effort one would put to reach that end. A 2 fix would imply she'd focus on the emotional, nurtural side of things. But... Ganyu, although nurturing, is quite freaked by emotion. eg; ❝ "𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲... "𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿..." 𝗪𝗵—𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁!? 𝗜'𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲... 𝗨𝗺, 𝘂𝗺, 𝘂𝗺... 𝗢𝗸𝗮𝘆... 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗵... 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗲..." ❝ She's a *complete* workaholic, with a work-oriented mindset and little pride or melancholy. That's also, funnily enough, what got me to consider Sexual 9; the most devoted and dutiful of the 9s. The certain misconception is that the SX9s's "merging" needs to be romantic. Not quite. All the SX9 need to do is to draw their sense of self off of someone in order to reach a purpose in life. Which, needlessly to say, it is Ganyu. Biography
Ganyu (Chinese: 甘雨 Gānyǔ, "lit. Sweet Rain") is a playable Cryo character in Genshin Impact. Half-adeptus secretary to the Qixing and emissary of its reigning Tianquan, Ningguang, as well as a comrade-in-arms of Rex Lapis during the Archon War, with whom she signed a contract to help keep watch over the nation as secretary. Given her dual heritage, however, she is struggling to fit in to a Liyue where humanity and adepti are beginning to drift apart.
