We can see some scenes where she is with her brothers, and they reject the new members, but she gets upset and defends them, she doesn't want to leave anyone behind and her main motivation is to integrate everyone, unite them. She finds this meaning in the union that her people have with respect to water, as water is within everyone and connects everyone in some way.
