Enid Sinclair MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Enid Sinclair? Enid Sinclair is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sp/so - 279 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
Enid is ENFP, NOT ESFP. She gives off a major ESFP vibe, mostly because it seems as if she is actively living in the present moment; even though that is clearly not the case. Enid gives off an Se-dom vibe at first, but when analyzed, clearly exhibits Ne, not Se. The way her mind is constantly fluctuating from an idea to another, her smart and witty remarks that are completely disconnected from what is currently happening; how she gets metaphors and replies from out of nowhere. That's pure Ne. The only reason Wednesday even entertains her is BECAUSE of her Ne. If she was truly ESFP, she would hate Wednesday and vice versa. I am also speaking from personal experience, I've known many ESFPs and been real friends with them, and know them enough to see that they hate INTJs with a passion. They can't stand them. They find them to be too mysterious, too calculating, too forward and future thinking to their liking. You can never get an ESFP to get along with an INTJ, and vice versa. They're reverse types, meaning they hate each other by default. That's just how it is. I am bringing a whole new dimension to typing here, I know. Rarely do people type based on chemistry; it's usually based on cognitive functions or even letter-typing or even vibe-typing, both of which are ridiculous. Chemistry typing is one I don't see used often but certainly works, and has worked for me in the past and still does; even IRL. You guys really think Enid, an ESFP, would ever entertain Wednesday if she was really an ESFP? No. However, if she was an ENFP, that's an entirely different story. In PDB itself, you can see that INTJ and ENFP have high chemistry; they're playmates, which is representative of the type of relationship you see here in the show. Enid enjoys Wednesday's company, and keeps cheering her up and trying to get her to conform to social norms, it's the vibe you catch from her at first glance aswell. The fact that she is so conformist and wants others to conform as well, especially INTJ; the most socially inept of the socially inept. That's tertiary Te at work, and usually tertiary and hero functions get mistaken for one another since they're in a constant clash. Seeing Enid at first makes you think; ENTJ... or maybe ESTJ... but definitely not ESFP or ENFP until later on. The way she keeps pressuring Wednesday into conforming and keeps ticking her and trying to trigger her, it's pretty hilarious. And it's very indicative of the "playmate" relationship going on here. Back to the chemistry thing which is a very interesting angle to type and look at people. I think more people should use it when they can't type someone. When you can't type someone, look at how they interact with other types. Lemme give you a live example to further confirm that Enid is ENFP NOT ESFP and can never be ESFP in fact. The only reason she gives ESFP vibes is because her actor, Emma Myers, is ISFP. It's near impossible for a sensor to act properly like an intuitive, sure she has her lines written but she doesn't have the mannerisms and body language of an intuitive, especially an intuitive perceiver affected by emotions; ENFP. That's like trying to get an INTP to act like an ESTP; it just can't work. They don't have the proper mannerisms to convincingly act like one. But anyways, back to the chemistry thing (I keep getting sidetracked, RAHHH Extroverted Intuition!!) If you want a live example of an ESFP-INTJ relationship, albeit fake, look at Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. Look no further than that beautiful dynamic. Throughout the show; they're constantly fighting. Constantly bickering. They never get along except when Walt wants to manipulate him, that's it. Jesse thinks he cares, he really doesn't, or maybe he does in his own f'ed up way. But anyways... You can see that they have 0 chemistry, intentionally as well. The way Walt thinks, behaves, plans, is COMPLETELY opposite to the way Jesse does things, so all you have is just constant bickering and fighting, they're literally using the exact same functions but in reverse; of course it's gonna be destructive. And they never learn to accept their differences, because they can't. One can't conceive how the other could possibly think that way. It's... doom. Even though IRL Bryan Cranston is actually ENTP so him and Aaron Paul (ESFP) do have chemistry, and I think that's the only thing making Breaking Bad's dynamic actually work, otherwise they'd be fighting on set too. ENTP-ESFP have high chemistry, so they got along just fine; except when Cranston was playing his shadow self (which I believe is why he's been so successful, every time you see an actor playing their shadow self they absolutely nail it, we're good at mimicking our shadow functions lol) But anyways... I personally believe Wednesday would not give a damn about Enid, and vice versa, if she was truly ESFP, in fact she'd hate her and be annoyed by her, and constantly try to shoo her (if Enid even bothered her).
