What personality type is The Alchemist? The Alchemist is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/so - in Enneagram, RCUEI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.
i would really really like to hear arguments for ISTP as i am interested. but after reading his interviews i cannot see anything but type four or intuitive type. some quotes that made me come to this conclusion: “I approach each one differently—the same way as a painter would step to the canvas and try to do something different. Everybody is different. Human beings all have their different nuances and quirks. My process is to become friends first, or just to get to know a person and like them. If you’re a good artist, you’re really in tune with yourself, and you’re making music that is representative of you as a person.” now if that isn’t blatantly type 4 idk what is. -“Once you get a style that they can put their finger on, it’s not fun anymore.” this as well! -after being regarded as the best hip hop producer alive today: “I can remember when I would learn new things and implement them into my workflow, and it would create a new style or a new sound. I can’t ever stop and become a teacher because I’m also still a student to a degree. I think there’s things people could learn from me, but I would never be the all-knowing guy” -“I always remembered that, like, “Damn, that’s a trip. You could make a beat how you feel?” I never even thought of that.” -in reference to earl sweatshirt: “He has an old soul and he’s really like a very wise, young man. I think we share a lot of things personality-wise, and stuff related to our lives.” he is very intellectual in his production and intent, thinking big-picture and intuitively— as he describes going off ‘vibes’ and incorporating them. while extremely humble and having a lot of respect for other artists, he does not seem to be directed by/extremely in tune with his emotions as much as the interest and connection he has with the production scene he is in. he respects what is different and what is true to an artist’s expression. he reminds me a lot of—and stated it himself—earl sweatshirt, another INTP hip hop artist.

Daniel Alan Maman, professionally known as the Alchemist, is an American musician, record producer, DJ, rapper and songwriter. He began his music career in 1991 in the hip hop duo The Whooliganz under the moniker Mudfoot, along with now-actor Scott Caan.
