What personality type is Y/N? Y/N is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - sx/so - 469 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
ISFP, ISFJ and INFP all make sense, as does the point that Y/N's types depend on how the author writes Y/N, so I am voting based on what Y/N represents. Y/N is there to make your dreams and fantasies come true. Y/N is a comfort character. Y/N is escapism. The type most likely to seek escapism and wish fulfilment in fiction is INFP, so I am voting INFP. I chose INFP over ISFP because ISFP may seek those in more tangible things than fiction due to Se and Y/N is typically even more of a clumsy airhead than in published stories (a.k.a. no Se). ISFJ works since being such a good person who helps others caters to INFP's idealism (this could go for INFJ, ENFJ and ESFJ too, not just ISFJ), but Fe seems to be less common than your average Fi dom Y/N. Conclusion: ISFP is the protagonist in a published book and INFP is Y/N on Wattpad.
