What personality type is Bennett? Bennett is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 729 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
he's so painfully underrated, i loved his hangout event... anyway, i understand why some people see him as possibly an Fe user, and i do agree that he could sort of seem like one on the surface as his Fi isn't as pronounced as it is in other characters like fischl and diluc. but imo that's largely due to his 2 fix and so7 core (which also looks very 2-like), which are prone to looking like Fe at first. another user has said that his Fi comes in through his passion for adventuring which i definitely agree with, he's constantly looking to fulfil his personal ideal and is very attuned to this desire of his. sure he does have a tendency to be very self-sacrificial in adventures, but firstly his awareness of his own bad luck (and consequently, wish to ensure that it doesn't affect others as much as he can help) heavily affects his actions in this regard, as he's obviously not going to want others to be hurt knowing that it's probable that he's unintentionally causing it, so he does all that he can to help others first and foremost. secondly being selfless isn't only an Fe thing. Fi users are just as capable of caring about others and placing them before themselves if it is what they personally value. this seems very evident in bennett. when the traveler tells him to stop prioritising others (like royce) over himself, he assesses it personally first and compares it to his own principles, trying to see how acting for himself goes against those very morals. he doesn't seem to value Ti at all, either. when it comes to logical deductions he abides by an external system that works as concrete evidence for him. his Te isn't the clearest either i'll admit, but he does not seem to go by a personal logical structure, discounting Ti. however there are a few instances in which he relies on established data and information instead. his adventuring ideals also correlate with him being a 7, and his awareness about it leads him to try to share a better, ideal experience of it with other people around him. though this can be seen as an Fe trait, the motivation behind his generosity is more akin to an so7's.
Biography
Bennett is a playable Pyro character in Genshin Impact. An orphan discovered by an elderly adventurer as a baby, Bennett was raised in Mondstadt's Adventurers' Guild. He is the one and only member of "Benny's Adventure Team," as everyone else left the team after experiencing the constant misfortune that follows him.
