"Welcher Persönlichkeitstyp ist {profilename}? {profilename} ist ein {MBTI} -Persönlichkeitstyp in MBTI, {enneagram} - {iv} - {tritype} in EnneArgram, {big5} in Big 5, {socionics} in Socionics."

On enneagram: “A reason I became a writer was to escape the hopelessness and despair of the real world and enter the world of hope I could create with my imagination.” It is a misconceptions to think 4s are simply attracted to emotion and art. They are drawn to a very specific type. They are looking for intense (often dark) emotions and art that reflections that reality. When 4s create art they tend to indulge in these negative emotions not escape from them. Consider the “world of hope” created by Edgar Allan Poe or Emily Bronte. The need to escape the hopeless and despair of the real world (instead of amply it) indicates that Bradbury is not a core 4. “I have four daughters and eight grandchildren. My soul lives on in them. That's immortality. That's the only immortality I care about.” 9s tend to mere with the people around them. They confuse I with we. Some 9s can try to fight this and become strong believers in individualism, but the point is that they tend to fight it. 4s feel separate naturally. This quote by Bradbury doesn’t necessarily prove that he’s 9, but does suggest a 9 structure. There is an idealizing quality to 9. 4w5s may also have abstract ideals, but they aren’t looking forward to a hopeful future. The 4 is more pessimistic. Maybe there could have been a hopeful future, but we messed it up, or they personally won’t ever get it. Maybe even they alone will get it because they are authentic, but they won’t have anyone to share it with. Their ideals aren’t community minded. “We're going to become the martians when we land there. When we explore and build communities, we become the martians. That's a wonderful destiny for all of us.” The avoid quote fits the idealizing quality of a 9 (specifically 9w1) more than 4w5. “Science fiction is a great way to pretend you are writing about the future when in reality you are attacking the recent past and the present. You can criticize communists, racists, fascists or any other clear and present danger, and they can't imagine you are writing about them.” 4s and 9s can both be sensitive to criticism, but 4s aren’t as likely to hide the fact that they are criticize you as 9s are. Read some of the brutal literary criticism Poe wrote. Hard to think of a better word to describe it than hateful. The way Bradbury says this, it sounds almost passive aggressive. Fits the type 9 structure better. “I don't decide. My secret self decides. I just go with my subconscious. If it wants to do a poem, I do a poem, and if it wants to do a play, I do a play. So I'm not in charge, I'm not in control.” “The most dangerous thing you can do is know who you are.” At their best, 4s are incredibly self-aware. At their worst, 4s are terribly self-absorbed. However, they are rarely unselfconscious. For better or worse, the type 4 structure is very focused on the self, and identifying that apart from others. What Bradbury is describing is a more automatic, unaware sense of self that progresses through life almost as if following a secret destiny that it doesn’t know. This doesn’t fit the type 4 structure at all, but fits 9 nicely.
