I get the impression that the themes of Conan are not something an INTP would be that interested in exploring, and seem to be more relevant to Fi and Te users. Particularly the theme of Barbarism vs. Civilization and that you should never lose touch with what you know in your heart is just for the sake of what civilization is telling you is correct seems very Fi to me. Add to this his deep fascination with history and they way his universe mostly bounced off of it and worked in a cyclical progression and regression of technology before the invention of gunpowder and I'd guess he's Si over Ni

Biografie

Robert Ervin Howard (January 22, 1906 - June 11, 1936) was a writer and poet from Texas. He wrote short stories and poems spanning several genres, including Heroic Fantasy, Western, Cosmic Horror, and Historical Fiction. He created the genres Low Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, and Sword and Sorcery — which, received its name from a discussion of what the genre of a Howard story should be called. J. R. R. Tolkien is one of the most influential writers of modern fantasy. His life was the subject of the 1996 film The Whole Wide World. Howard was a friend of H. P. Lovecraft and one of the contributors to the Cthulhu Mythos. The erudite New Englander and backwoods Texan boy, with opposed philosophies about. . . well, everything. While Lovecraft felt that human concerns and powers were utterly irrelevant to the universe at large, Howard felt that humanity could overcome anything so long as they held barbarism in their heart. His most well-known creation is Conan the Barbarian.
