Jia Xu (147 – 11 August 223), courtesy name Wenhe, was an official of the state of Cao Wei during the early Three Kingdoms period of China. Jia Xu was a cunning strategist who usually gravitated towards those in positions with the most power. Jia Xu often favoured the long game, he preferred to find advantage in the future and would offer advice which would promote peaceful solutions over military ones.
