just guessing here, but while writing the caraval books stephanie garber said that she always had multiple choices and paths down which the characters could go, and she chose as she wrote. she rewrote multiple scenes and went through numerous possibilities before she chose one. that points to Ne rather than Ni, because Ni would probably have planned out one or two paths from the beginning, and probably would have chosen before they wrote. and i also think that Ne is her dominant function because it takes a lot of Ne imagination to create a book like caraval. it's just a very imaginative, idealistic Ne world to create, so i don't think a sensor without a lot of development would have written a book like caraval. it also calls back to like late 1800sish Europe, which seems like more of an NeSi writing scheme. not sure and my understanding of the functions isn't the best but this is just my guess. i would say she seems like an Fe user at first based on her instagram, but i'm pretty sure she's just a nice bubbly person, and that could be explained by an Fe-ish enneagram like 2w3. and as for why she's a feeler rather than a thinker, i don't really see any introverted thinking in her work. she also seems to have Te, as she used to have a set word goal to reach each day, although she abolished that, and is very happy and adamant when she finishes one of her books.
