Okay, hear me out... Let's all agree that Marshall is just Marceline's like... self-fanfic, and it's nessecarily not just Marceline turned male. He has a completely different character from Marceline. Like, let's say... Ice King and Ice Queen are both different, because Ice King sees himself as more evil, that's why Ice Queen is way meaner than he is. He doesn't realize, he's actually much nicer. Making a perfect fanfic of yourself isn't that easy, because you tend to view yourself way more differently, than what you actually are. That's why Marshall is an ISTP, and Marcy is an ISFP.
