I think the biggest mistake the English dub made was make him more...aggressive and snappy. In the Chinese dub, Xiao is, I'd say a rather calm and collected person. He tends to be straightforward with his words, but he's not harsh. He's firm but he's not angry. An example I'll give is this: while CN dub Xiao would go "move out of the way", EN dub Xiao would go "MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!!". As much as I make jokes about him being "edgy haha", he was definitely mischaracterized to hell and back in the EN dub. The problem isn't so much the lines themselves, but the way they're read. On another note, I'm glad his tritype + instinctual variant were fixed, I don't really think he has the values of an 8 > 1, but I do think Xiao is melancholic > choleric. Could someone explain why choleric-melancholic over melancholic-choleric?
