Although she had good intentions behind her actions, she didn't actually think of how Anne and Sasha would have to go through because of her decision to use the box to trap them in Amphibia. She doesn't notice the pain and loss that Anne had experienced by her selfish actions. She objectifies Sprig as a way to justify her actions to Anne, genuinely believing she helped her friends grow and become closer, when in reality, they never wanted any of it. She cares about her friends a lot, that's for sure, but she has very big troubles identifying their true feelings. She trapped them in this fantasy world as a way of unhealthy escapism because she was to afraid to move on and because she had no other friends other than Sasha and Anne.
Biografi
Marcy Regina Wu is a major supporting character of Amphibia. She is a 13-year-old Taiwanese-American human girl who is best friends with Anne and Sasha, attending Saint James Middle School together. When Anne opened the Calamity Box, Marcy, along with Anne and Sasha, was teleported to Amphibia. Marcy was warped within the walls of Newtopia and was promoted to Chief Ranger of the Newtopian Night Guard, where she worked directly for King Andrias of Amphibia. She represented the green gem of Wit on the Calamity Box.
