Ben Hope tipo di personalità MBTI

Personalità

"Che tipo di personalità è Ben Hope? Ben Hope è un tipo di personalità ESTP in mbti, 6w7 - sx/so - 638 in enneagram, SLUEN in big 5, SEE in socionics."

I don't think that his problem is fear. It's shame. Which means that heart triad is more likely than mind triad. There are two possibilities... He's either 3w4 or 4w3. As I mentioned, Ben isn't afraid of his sexuality. He's ashamed of it. He hates himself for being attracted to men, which is why he immediately shut Charlie down when he mentioned being boyfriends. Having a boyfriend would mean sticking a label on himself that would be a constant reminder of his attraction to men. This reminds me of 4's tendency to feel inherently flawed, as well as 3's tendency to feel like they're never good enough. That point is made even clearer when he finds out that Nick and Charlie are together. Nick is just like him, situationally. He suddenly became attracted to someone of the same gender, and felt a deep sense of confusion regarding it. Ben even says himself something like "I like you, I just haven't figured everything out yet" during the assault scene. I think that's true. He probably did like Charlie. But because Charlie is the manifestation of Ben's perceived "flaw", he acts hateful toward him. He pushes Charlie away with his hostility because he wants to rid himself of his own shame. Okay, so since we now all agree that he's in heart triad... I'm a bit stuck between 3 and 4. There is one moment that I think could have him leaning more toward sx4. In the theater, Ben sees Nick and Charlie holding hands. And afterward, when he confronts Charlie, he is livid. Sx4's envy is expressed as a competitive hatred toward those who aren't suffering as they are, as they feel like the other person possesses a fundamental piece that they are missing within themselves. They feel hatred. Ben feels hatred toward Nick because, situationally, Nick is in the same position as him. The major difference is that Nick is thriving rather than suffering and succumbing to his own shame. Nick doesn't hate himself for being attracted to Charlie like Ben does. It's implied that Nick's dilemma is not shame toward his sexuality, but rather, he simply doesn't know how to disrupt the status quo, and the idea of it scares him. But he's able to be happy. Ben is not able to be happy. He's suffering inside, and he is envious of Nick, who isn't suffering like he is. Anyway, this is a super shakey theory. I wrote this on a whim, lol. But I really wanted to get the idea out there so that we can discuss it as a possibility, as I think that the arguments for both 3 and 4 could hold water.
