Lion El'Jonson discussing the possibility of Terra being a myth with a young knight named Zahariel: "It would be terrible," Zahariel said. "True, but in other ways it would free us. We would no longer need to be responsible to the past. The present and the future would be our only boundaries. Take the current campaign against the great beasts as an example. You are young, Zahariel. You cannot be aware of the bitter arguments, the threats and the recriminations that were directed towards me when I first advanced the plans for my campaign. All too often, I found that the causes of these objections were rooted in some dated custom that had long ago worn out its welcome. Tradition is a fine ideal, but not when it serves as a shackle on our future endeavours. If it wasn’t for Luther and his fine oratory, I doubt the plan would ever have been approved. It is the same with so many issues that confront us today. The diehards and the sticks-in-the-mud oppose us at every step, irrespective of the value of the plans I put forward. They always make reference to the past, to tradition, as though our past was so filled with shining glories that we might actually want to preserve it forever. But I am not interested in the past, Zahariel. I think only of the future." Descent of Angels by Mitchel Scanlon p. 74, Chapter 5 The Introverted Intuition coming off this quote is blinding. Completely future oriented, sees people as roadblocks or tools towards his goals. He disregards 'tradition' as a rational argument against change and is confident in saying as much. I believe Extraverted Thinking can be observed here too if you simply eliminate the possibility of him having Extraverted Feeling and look for signs of action and efficiency. We can eliminate Extraverted Feeling pretty compellingly by seeing how he comments on Luther's oratory skills and his own lack of such persuasion and charm. Knowledge of the Lion beyond this quote would also easily point you towards his horrible interpersonal skills and hard time relating to others. As for signs of action and efficiency, Lion mentions his campaign and how he was the driving force to tale action against the great beasts. He's single-mindedly focused on achieving that goal and as soon as he's opposed, he finds the root of their argument so he can maneuver around it, leaving all the personal details for Luther to deal with. I'd say it would be very difficult for someone to read this quote and leave with the impression that the Lion isn't an XNTJ.
バイオグラフィー
Lion El'Jonson, also known as The Lion and The First, is the Primarch of the Dark Angels. He was scattered along with the other Primarchs to the far corners of the galaxy. He finally came to rest on the world Caliban, a beautiful but blighted world tainted by Chaos due to its proximity to the Eye of Terror. Lion El'Jonson was renowned for a level of strategic brilliance and martial prowess that was rivaled perhaps only by Horus, but was distrusted by his brother Primarchs for his secretive and taciturn nature.
