[MINOR SPOILERS] How isn't he a social 6? What's his first reaction when seeing a dead body? "We should call the cops." I think, due to the game's circumstances, it's pretty difficult to see that he's a social 6, so he's typed as a self-preservation 6 instead. As for his Socionics, I think he's either LII or ESI. ESIs can be soft-natured and polite, especially ethical subtypes. His constant fear can be interpreted as either Se PoLR or Ne PoLR. However I don't think I have enough information to deduce his type with certainty. Also, I'm not sure what him going mad on day 3 means. ESI-Fi description: "Hardworking and practical. At work he is responsible and painstaking. Shows good manners, tries to be gracious and refined. Dresses with taste, though somewhat monotonously. His gaze is soft, at times frightened, and testing. In interactions with others, this is a soulful, attentive, caring and considerate person." LII description: "In communication very careful. Contributes to the conversation only when it concerns matters that are important to him. Treasures relationships that have been already established. [...] With strangers and people who confuse him becomes restrained, internally clams up he doesn’t know how to behave himself around them. " Yeah, I think I'll go with ESI. LII is a good guess, but he seems to correlate more with ESI. He definitely has LII-ish tendencies (ESI's superego), though he's using those functions when under stress.
