Boromir MBTI 성격 유형

인격

"Boromir은 어떤 성격 유형입니까? Boromir은 mbti의 ESTJ 성격 유형입니다. enneagram의 2w3 - so/sp - 286, big 5의 SLOAN, socionics의 SEE입니다."

After thorough research and analysis, my mind is made up that Boromir is an ESTJ 3w2. Beginning with dominant Te, Boromir has a natural proclivity to rule and lead the people around him. He is efficient and wants results. Even when not possessed by the ring, he doesn’t understand why the ring cannot be used to help Gondor fight. He is very blunt and has no issue interrupting people if he believes his results are more efficient – such as his interaction with Gandalf at the fellowship meeting. He also makes his decisions out of empirical evidence which can put him at odds with Ti-users like Aragorn. Fe is concerned with caring for the people around them and establishing peace and harmony into an environment. The only times that I see this are his last scene when talking about his people (which can extend to the extroverted leading aspect of an ESTJ), and the possession where he is talking about his people under the guise of wanting the power that the ring possesses. Next, auxiliary Si. This is pretty darn clear throughout the whole movie. He has a knack for seeing through the lens of what has already happened and judging everything based on that. His visions of what the city of Gondor looked like once guide his future actions. He also lives under the ideas of what his father had for him, and this motivates and defines who he is as a person. His decision to also take the Ring to Gondor as soon as he learns of its existence also warrant that he cares far more about his city than the possibility of something going wrong. Tertiary Ne is all over Boromir and his actions. He can see possibilities but only ever filtered out his Si in that they will improve the standings of his traditionalism. The fact that he would take and use the Ring despite warnings from high elders of Elves, Gandalf, and Aragorn all go to show that he has issues with new ideas. He can also surprise lesser Ne’s such as Samwise with some of his suggestions. Such as in the book, he suggests that Saruman has something to do with mountain snow weather. Finally inferior Fi. I see multiple instances of his inferior Fi coming out in the movies. Boromir tends to let practical decisions and results override any moral questioning. He clearly thinks in terms of what needs to be done (Te) than in terms of what ought to be done (Fi). His own lack of moral persuasions is why he is constantly attending to the opinions of his father (weak Fi), yet simultaneously ignoring the opinions of people considerably wiser than himself such as Gandalf and Elrond. A dominant Fe user would almost immediately take into consideration those opinions and seek to restore harmony to the group. He is less concerned with group harmony than he is simply trying to convince others to do what he thinks is best. At the end of the day (SPOILERS), he sacrificed himself for Merry and Pippin on the grounds that it is what is right to himself. Lastly, I have no idea why 2w3 is winning. I do not see dominant 2 in this man. He clearly has a desire for status, control, and power. He wants others to listen and follow his order. He does care a great deal for those around him but only insofar that he can help lead the group. His desire for status is clear in that he wants to use the Ring to help lead his people to victory. I don’t see what about him is dominant 2.
