Okay Beth is hard to type but after more thinking I still think she's ISTJ- The metaphor for drowning throughout the story... I can't tell whether this points to a Ni, Ne, or Si, but it seems like the antithesis of Se (feeling crushed by the current moment rather than being able to act). I can see the Si-Ne axis over the Ni-Se axis - she's grounded and well put together, and she's been able to dutifully practice music for years - that is until her Fi objects and she realizes "oh wait I don't like this at all" and then starts to be more vocal about it. Speaking of Fi... Te and Fi > Fe and Ti... I think Fi is most visible initially in the way she's attached to Victor. There's also a lot of Te in her style, administrating events, being brutally honest to people when they need it, viewing Camilla as a rival like "I like him, she likes him, this is the way it is and we have to be at odds". However it isn't until recently in the story that she's been able to develop her Fi side, like standing up for something she likes and wants to do, and being more mature(?) about her emotions. The Te comes more naturally to her and Fi is more tertiary - it's just kind of been there unharnessed until Camilla comes along Why I say Si > Te is because she does imply she's an introvert (buuut this isn't conclusive) and we really don't see her Ne much
