I am kind of baffled by some of the arguments people are giving for ISFJ here. Not only does she not show a shred of Fe, her entire character arc is defined by her Fi. [SPOILERS] Shadowheart=ISTJ Jenevelle=INFP or an Fi dom Shadowheart’s personality and inner conflict is driven by her moral code and internal values-specifically how her devotion to Shar is extremely at odds with her innate sense of decency and morality she displays throughout Act 1. To the point that there’s almost a cognitive dissonance between the way she describes Shar versus your experience with every other Sharian in Act 2. This is very common with ISTJs stuck in a Si Fi loop who are blinded by their loyalty to their cause and haven’t developed their Te and Ne to process other external information and evidence. The breakdown of Shadowheart's quest and personality on this page come across as really misleading and just straight-up wrong. It's like people are willfully ignoring every single instance of where Shadowheart has been confrontational and expressing her values. EVERYTHING ABOUT HER STORY AND CHARACTER IS HER CONVICTIONS AND VALUES. The whole point is that despite all the brainwashing and memory manipulation from Viconia her sense of decency and morality that she retains as Jenevelle still persists within her. Her whole character arc and story is defined by her Fi and how her internal values as a follower of Shar are at odds with her values as Jenevelle. It has nothing to do with blindly following the role she has been given. For example, if you leave her to her own devices when it comes to the Nightsong decision, she CHOOSES to let the Nightsong live of her own volition because deep down she knows that it's the right thing to do and that what Shar has been teaching is deeply at odds with her own personal values that she's had since a young child. That's Fi. Also, some of the assertions on this page that she blindly agrees and follows everyone of your suggestions is just a complete lie. She pretty much refuses to join you if you have Lae'zel in your party at the Grove. Like to her face says "get rid of the Gith". She vocally tells the player to their face to get stuffed if they are being too nosy when it comes to the artefact and her mission. She openly mocks you when you suggest that you would tie her up if she turned into a mindflayer and says she would just kill you. She is pragmatic and discreet. She has ZERO Fe or Ti. She is all about her internal values and beliefs but goes about it in a more pragmatic and subtle way, unlike Lae who is a Te dom and is much more confrontational. Everything about her screams Te and Fi. Like I sincerely doubt people actually played through her character story multiple times, because the only time she chooses to be more open and agreeable is if you choose to save her at the beginning in the Nautoloid. She prefers to be pragmatic and discreet when it comes to dealing with sticky situations (aux Te) but still has a sense of decency and compassion when it comes to most moral choices that are not connected to Shar or Selune (tertiary Fi). The Shadowheart aspect of her personality is not a “fake” personality. She’s not a “fake” IXTJ. A major part of her character resolution at the end of her storyline is her coming to accept the fact that Shadowheart is just part of who she is as Jenevelle. She has to live with the memories of both. Their both equally real parts of who she is. There’s no such thing as having a “fake” MBTI personality.
