When encountering Shadowheart trapped in a pod, she doesn't care and just wants to keep moving. At every turn, Lae'zel chooses the option that yields the quickest solution, regardless of the consequences. She focuses on all objectives outside of herself and seeks efficiency and progress in them above everything. Auxiliary Si: Lae'zel doesn't care for speculation, she operates under concrete facts which is foundationally part of Si. This is also apparent in her acceptance of facts without inquiry, especially regarding her race and duty as a soldier. Tertiary Ne: The development of Lae'zel's Ne is the center of her character's development. During her discovery of Prince Orpheus and the manipulation of herself by her goddess, Lae'zel learns how to piece together ideas and find a pattern in how her life has played out. This development of her Ne leads to her choosing her own path and making her own decisions in her life. Inferior Fi: Lae'zel doesn't harbor any personal values at first, she lets her people dictate that for her. As her story progresses though, she learns more about who and what she truly cares for and chooses to fight for it. Another indicator of this is her inner sadness over forsaking her goddess. While she found freedom in her independence, Lae'zel remains sad about leaving behind the only life she has known and discovering that her identity was founded on deception.
