Im so tired of people saying that an ENTP can't be an enneagram 5. MBTI is the way you perceive and process information while enneagram pertains to your motivations and life's purpose. Now tell me how these two are correlated to the point of making one or the other obsolete. Anyways her desire to be the best scientist I think is seen through her w4 (value of her work and how it reflects back to herself) and her social function (searching for the ultimate meaning and wishing to be acknowledged as to be the best you need recognition) prospering. Her 5 is seen through her extrovertedness which comes mainly from what she values which is knowledge and science enquiry. I can agree we haven't seen her in much of a diverse setting to prove it otherwise, but its safe to assume that she spends most of her time alone researching as her work would require an extensive amount of time and she seems to do this on purpose with great enthusiasm (/sp + 5). Her computer is flooded with tabs and saved files which could mean she looks for a diverse set of data or takes on a diverse set of research which could be correlated to a ENTP 7 but wouldn't you say that extensive diverse intellectual exploration fits an ENTP 5 the most? Yet either way this isn't enough data to prove this. Now that we know what she values we need to know why. Is it because she fears missing out on these subjects (7) or because she fears being incapable (5). Due to her desire to be the best we can again use this to reflect on this very fear (the 5's fear). She also prides herself from information and identifies with it and keeps it a secret as well. A 7 also usually go into 5 when integrated while a 5 goes into 7 when unhealthy. If you think she is unhealthy then this could be the case as to why you may have 7 implications.
