Jimmy’s brain blast isn’t Ni-Se, he has to work hard to CONSCIOUSLY find the connections in his head while a big part of the definition of Ni is that it occurs in the unconscious. Ni dominant impressions are drawn from Se’s immediate gathering of sensory data, so the impressions happen almost instantaneously and out of the user’s control, and because Se is inferior the user isn’t consciously aware of where they got the impression from, so they have to consciously work to figure out the Se data that explains the impression AFTER it’s already occurred. Jimmy has to work using his Ti analysis in order to access his Ne connections from Si past experiences to arrive at a logical solution.
