Silver's relationship with Blaze is a very interesting dynamic for comparison, mainly because he is Fi>Te and she is Te>Fi, this comparison is clear, Blaze is much more concerned with the accuracy and completion of missions, it's never something personal for her, it's a matter of duty, going there and doing what is necessary, Silver on the other hand is much more Idealistic, and even melancholic, he is much more concerned about the people themselves, and he does what he does because he believes it is right Silver is even the first to want to go back to the past to kill Sonic, while Blaze is on the back foot, it is obvious that she is much more stable than Silver who is more Idealistic, he tries to kill Sonic and when Amy disowns him to help Sonic he starts to question his motives, Silver wanted to kill him because he believed that was killing a monster, but when he saw that it wasn't about that, he got insecure the conversation between him and Blaze is a clear representation of Te vs Fi, Blaze (Te) seeks to finish the job, do what is right, solve the problem incisively and definitively, While Silver (Fi) needs to deal with his feelings first, he needs to make sure he's not wrong, that he's doing the right thing... some people type him as an INFJ, but he seems to depend a lot on Blaze for the logic part of the missions, he seeks certainty when the subject leaves the branch of emotions, which is a great indication of inferior Te, if he were INFJ I believe he wouldn't have this problem considering the Ti a very clear difference between INFJs and INFPs is that INFJs master the feeling and thinking function, it is easier for them to organize these two things, what makes them empathetic while basing their values and actions on aspects that make sense with their internal logical process, I don't see this in Silver, Silver seems to be unscrupulously guided by emotion, it's quite obvious that his thinking function is low, he looks for reasons to do what he does, but the reasons are purely emotional. A telekinetic hedgehog from 200 years in the future. In the original timeline, Silver's future was destroyed by the "Flames of Disaster", known as Iblis. He and his friend Blaze spent their days defending their home from Iblis in an never-ending conflict. One day though, a mysterious individual named Mephiles the Dark approach him with the opportunity to travel to the past, and destroy the one who awakens Iblis, the Iblis Trigger: Sonic the Hedgehog. Silver goes to the past alongside Blaze to kill Sonic, but is eventually stopped by Shadow, who reveals Mephiles true intentions: to reunite with Iblis and destroy all of existence. Silver eventually make amends with Sonic, and returns to the future with the method to seal Iblis with the Chaos Emeralds. Once he defeats Iblis, Blaze seals Iblis within herself, saving the future. After the destruction of Solaris, a new timeline was created. Silver came from a future where the evil Doctor Eggman Nega is a recurring pest. He travels back in time to capture Eggman Nega and bring him back to the future, and later, to prevent Eggman Nega from summoning a fire demon named Ifrit, who has destroyed the world in the future. Silver is idealistic, headstrong, and more than a bit naive. His one true desire is a place where people can be happy and free from harm, but he's pretty rash and quick to make judgments without all of the details.
