E7 belongs to the head triad or Practical Ego with the orientation of thinking and one’s position in the world. This ego feels a sense of being inferiorized in the childhood relationship with siblings and/or peers (Ichazo on Point 7). This ego is poisoned psychically by Mythomania and has Dreaming as the main characteristic. We could understand this fixation as a fixation to constantly plan one’s way to avoid and escape pain, due to a sense of internal impoverishment. From this, we could see that the E7’s planning is more like a scheming. Due to the psychic poison of Mythomania, E7 seduces the others by intellectual manipulation and seduction, brought with covert enthusiasm. As Naranjo explained, SP7 builds this connection based on ideas like “I will be family to you and I demand that you be family to me, let's get together, I will serve you and you will serve me, together, we can create a good mafia together” (27 personajes en busca del ser). We could understand this character as an opportunistic person that pursues things they deem needed to preserve their conservation, with a hidden sense of selfishness and corruption. The sampling need of Gluttony manifests in this cunning character, a charlatan opportunist that seduces people with their intellectual seduction in order to secure things that may ensure the SP7’s conservation. SP7 is often described as the most grounded subtype, since the things that SP7 pursues are usually material. However, remember that Gluttony is insatiable, which means that they would never be full with whatever materials they already obtain by their cunning intellectual charlatanism to make connections. This means that E7 will seek more and more, grab any opportunities, seek more connections using the element of corruption and lie in their intellectual seduction again and again, because they internally feel that what they already have/get is not enough to cope with their inner inferiority and pain. And so on, the vicious cycle continues.
