Jung described extraverted elements as objective and introverted elements as subjective. According to him EF deals with the emotions of society and other people rather than with the emotions of oneself (objective ethics). To him EF is all about shared values, objective emotionality and conformity. It‘s a rational element and it only judges, it does not perceive. That being said, people with dominant EF always judge people, objects, etc. according to whether they fit into the objective values of the tribe. These people don’t have their own opinions, they always adhere to conventions. Herd-thinking is a good word for it. There is zero individualism and personal autonomy is sacrificed by identifying themselves with the collective. Their intense concentration on other people’s viewpoints sometimes makes them lose sight of the value of their own viewpoint. They ignore their own sentiments and personal morals, being dictated by the collective’s emotionality. They follow the societal ethics and social conventions; their idea of an ideal lover is the idea that society shows, the idea that is shared around. They think only in “mainstream” terms, they would love someone if that person has a personality and/or appearance that people in general love. „The personality appears to be adjusted in relation to objective conditions. Her feelings correspond with objective situations and general values. An extraverted rational (ET and EF) in jungian is a person who's more focused on making something reach a certain standard, manipulate outer objects and act "aggressively" towards it (They are drill sergeants and the world are the recruits). But it is not that they're necessarily violent or rule abiding, they see the world as a place in need of "organization", life is about actualizing over understanding the external world and the information they receive will always be geared as a means to an end. An extraverted irrational (ES and EN) is accepting of the external world, it's not that they're without reason, in fact their sense of reality is well developed allowing them to be very focused on happenings in front of them. They don't have an inherent will to organize outer objects or manipulate them, in fact just achieving what their perception sees as important is their whole goal. The irrational elements are focused only on experiencing data.
