Just finished watching Peaky Blinders (an excellent show - I recommend it highly), and another point dawned on me for Sinbad being ENFJ over ENTJ, and this I think holds true of the typical ENTJ imo: the way Tommy (an ENTJ) manages to bring a myriad of people into following him and his cause is two fold: 1) His competence (it’s unlikely anyone would follow him otherwise given his antisocial personality, and we see this in how everyone’s always trying to leave the gang) but more importantly (as that is true for ENFJs too), 2) His ability to align what he wants with what someone else wants (Charisma on Command explains this well in their video analysis of him on YouTube). He gets backup because people are working towards their own ends, and he’s a tool which allows them to do that, after which they leave (that or he just pays them). It’s a tactical move, and a Te action through and through. That said, Sinbad is the complete opposite. People don’t follow him for what they want, but for WHO HE IS. His sheer charisma and inherent character wins them over, and they are charmed by the belief that following this man is simply the right thing to do for the good of the world. This also often happens at direct cross purposes to one’s own desires (see Drakon as an example) and is classic Fe charisma at work, not Te.
