such an fe dom, my god. so much so that it's difficult for me to tell whether he prefers ni or si; his fe just steamrolls everything else lmao. i prefer the timeskip version of him, which is the one i tend to focus on, but pre-timeskip he's more oblivious and less developed. his support with marianne sticks out to me in particular, because he criticizes the lack of noble pride in her demeanor, and he compliments her for showing piety, not because he admires her devotion to the goddess, but because he believes that's how a noble should act. that's not the innovative take on nobility like i've seen people attribute to him, his views on being a noble before losing his title were shaped more by his intrinsic personality preferences than his views as a more developed and well-rounded adult who has more varied experiences with which to base opinions on; so in my opinion it clearly shows who he is at his core and what his preferences are. definitely more si than ni; tack on his eye for aesthetic beauty and detail and he's certainly si-ne over ni-se. that's my take anywhoo either way he's a hotty post-timeskip and i marry him in every playthrough lmao
