I think Ae Soon is closer to being an ENFP rather than an ESTJ. Although she is ambitious, often aims for higher achievements, and has a certain "sass" or dominance, she is also prone to emotional breakdowns when she doesn't get her way and does not stay logical or suppresses feelings like the ESTJ who has inferior Fi. She even sometimes weaponizes her suffering to get what she wants from others, particularly Hwan Sik. She is motivated to get out of her hell hole and idealizes a better life out there, even ventures out not knowing what it will be like, which shows a pretty high Ne and low Si. Frankly, I don't think SX7 fits Ae Soon. While SX7s are very imaginative and quite rebellious as they are often anti-authoritarian, they also value positivity and light atmospheres, so instead of being outwardly confrontational they would usually rephrase negativity with humor or subtly hint at things to not cause conflict. We never see Ae Soon do that, even in situations that are not imminent. She is also very comfortable with expressing sadness and is very connected with the "suffering" part of herself, contrary to SX7s who tend to numb that part of themselves with outward pursuits of gluttony, which in SX7s would be chasing for new ideas. 7s often want to forget their internal suffering or do not want to confront it. Ae Soon is closer to being an SX4. She is motivated to achieve more because she is often compared to others, for example she loses the class leader role to a richer classmate, does not get to eat fish because she is seen as an outsider by her family, and her mom is talked down on by other sea women. Internally she feels inferior and wants to prove she is worthy by becoming competitive. Her core motivations fit that of the SX 4w3, and is also likely SX/SO (SP blind) since she is aggressive and combative, is willing to leave her comfort space and is definitely not a silent-sufferer like the SP4 who would not complain about their suffering. She outwardly expresses her suffering quite a lot. I like how on PDB, artists are often voted E4 just because they are artists, but actual E4s are seen as some other type, and xxFP E4s are mistaken to be xxTJs.
