They are Primal Demons. Primal Demons are shadowy demons that kill anything in their path, demon or otherwise, as opposed to normal demons that only kill humans. Roaming primals wander the facility once the power to the cells is cut. They move slower, but actively chase their prey. These primals have a hollow face and float around like ghosts.
