amy is so 9w8; durring 346 amy is upset with the overwhelm of being in an unharmonious environment- witch is so very type nine. in the first scene shes not able to react right away witch is also a type 9 thing, nines generally shut down to cope/ not have even more conflict. amy is easily a 9 but the other thing to consider is wings. amy is upset with the disharmony especially because she isnt able to do things she normally can, she feels powerless against her own need for a break. a fear of being powerless is one of 8s core fears. that said one could argue the designer for control is part of every member of the gut triad, to witch i want to examine the different ways the control manifests. type 1s want to have control over themselves specifically because their core fear is being a bad person. in the episode amys distress is not "everything is a mess and im a bad person for not being able to help everyone" its "everything is a mess and im not strong enough/ generally able to do anything about it" her core fear aligns more with 8s fears of inability to thrive, thus 9w8.
