Hugeeee misunderstanding of 8's. The reason ppl are struggling to see the connection of 8 to Goku is that 8's are stereotyped to be constantly seeking in control of people, life, situations, and 7's are stereotyped by overly optimistic happy people who show no emotion other than happiness. Listen. Goku is a 8. A very healthy one (due in part to how his grandpa raised him and how he came up), but a 8 no less. He isn't connected to his head like 7's are. 7's, all 7's, struggle with mental gluttony, constantly chasing multiple multiple physical ideas they can do and experience to avoid their internal fear of pain, being chained down, not free to experience the world, etc. 8's struggle with lust, we will chase after only a few things/experiences with great passion and energy focused purely on that 1 thing. 7's in comparison spread themselves more thin 8's are connected to their body, acting on impulse and instinct mainly, eith little regard to the future of said actions, it's about them and what they want in the immediate moment. 7's are connected to the head and are constantly brimming with new things to do, experience, etc. You can almost say even their thinking ahead to the next thing already when already occupied with something, a 8 is right there in the moment in your face not even worried about tomorrow. Imagine Goku as a villain who never bumped his head. Would a evil non moralistic Goku resemble more of a evil 8, or a 7? I see pure 8, a villain constantly seeking fights and thrills being only focused on present moment, not being idealistic at all. He's overly optimistic compared to typical 8's but again, he was raised a certain way of life with love, plus hes a social 8. He also does have a temper, shown when innocents are hurt, his loved ones threatened, or someone is trying to destroy the world.
