A classic example of Soos having inferior Si is that episode where Dipper and Mabel see how he was when he was a kid. His dad sent the same letter to him each year on his birthday saying he couldn't come that year. The letter was from Vegas and his dad was obviously off partying and didn't care about Soos at all. Soos still kept believing his Dad would come back one of his birthdays and he had so many ideas and plans of what they were going to do when he came back.
