What personality type is Jason Grace? Jason Grace is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - so/sp - 162 in Enneagram, RCOAN in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
I haven’t read the books in a long time and I’m probably wrong about this but I have a theory. I love him with my whole heart so if I roast him it’s with love. Jason fits all the ISFJ stereotypes, but I believe it’s only because they are also 1w9 stereotypes. Following the rules, being moral, that’s 1w9. Tell me one time when this boy mentioned his past. He spent the first book trying to remember who he was because he had his memory erased, but that’s it. When he got it back, he left his past behind and moved on. He constantly worried about turning into the person everyone expected him to be, thinking more about his future than his past. Reyna was his closest friend at camp jupiter and he left without turning back. He was tired of his past and just wanted to start over, somewhere he truly belonged. He also wanted to reform the whole camp to include minor gods, something very against tradition. Also, he focused on the big picture instead of the details, doing what was best for the world instead (ex: wanting to leave nico to die, sacrificing himself). People say he’s hard to type because he’s flat but I think it’s the exact opposite. I believe Jason has fought his whole life to “be perfect”, he pushes the bad ones down and only shows the good ones. It looks like he has a little of all the functions. Biography
Having been raised Roman, Jason is serious and a natural leader, although he does have his moments of good humor. However, he does struggle with the pressure of leading sometimes. Over the course of the series he becomes less aloof, more willing to open up, and more comfortable with himself and others. As the son of Jupiter, he can control wind (and can fly as a result of this) and lightning (as well as the weather if he tries hard enough). He fights with Ivlivs, an Imperial gold coin that can change into a sword or a spear depending on which face it lands on, and later gains a gladius formerly owned by Hera at the end of The Lost Hero.
